What I’ve learned on my journey toward better health

After reading this awesome piece on the frustrations of navigating all the advice out there for helping babies sleep, I realized that there are so many other parts of life that are just as confusing. Most currently in my own life: healthy eating, exercise, and weight loss. I’m trying. I’m trying really hard, darn it. I’m researching and studying and asking for advice and really trying to do it right. Let me share with you what I’ve learned:

First of all, what you eat matters. You need to hit all the basic food groups, especially fats because they are so good for the heart. Except for saturated fat. Saturated fat causes heart disease and you should avoid it. New studies show that saturated fat is actually good for the heart, so incorporate it back into your diet. You should eat mostly fruits and vegetables, but not fruits because they have too much sugar. Red meat is bad for you, and grass-fed beef is one of the healthiest foods you can eat. And you should avoid gluten at all costs. Definitely go gluten-free, don’t worry about actually getting a diagnosis of celiac disease. Everyone should be gluten-free because it’s the healthiest. Gluten-free diets can be seriously nutrient-deficient, low in fiber, iron, folate, niacin, thiamine, riboflavin, calcium, vitamin B12, phosphorus and zinc. You should eat only organic, non-GMO foods. Anything that’s not organic is covered with pestacides and will give you cancer. GMO’s are perfectly safe, and the organic trend is actually bad for farming and the economy. There is rock-solid evidence that high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, artificial flavors, and partially hydrogenated oils cause cancer and are extremely dangerous, especially for small children. But study after study has shown that these ingredients are not dangerous at all and are completely safe for your kids, so don’t worry at all about Red 40 and Yellow 5. You should also become a vegan because that is the only healthy way to eat, but vegan diets are not recommended because they are lacking in so many important nutrients found in meat and dairy products.

Also, when you eat matters. You should eat small meals or snacks every few hours throughout the day, including keeping your breakfast light. You should make breakfast the biggest meal of your day. Fasting is really healthy for you, giving your body a break from digesting and letting it spend its energy on cleansing from toxins. You should fast at least one day a week, and preferably do a 2-3 day fast monthly. Fasting is really beneficial for weight loss, as well.  But make sure you never ever skip meals, because that causes lower metabolism and leads to abdominal weight gain.

Exercise is extremely important, and morning is the best time to exercise. Exercising in the morning helps you burn calories throughout the day and helps you sleep better at night. You should never exercise at night because it will interfere with your sleep. Exercising at night helps you destress and sleep better. Always stretch before your workout so that your muscles will be ready. And remember to only stretch after you exercise, never before, because you could injure your muscles if you stretch before they are warmed up. Cardio is best. As long as you are getting 30 minutes of cardio at least three times a week, you’ll be good. But never stop with just cardio–cardio alone is ineffective and needs strength training to go with it.

All these new products like Plexus, Thrive, Isagenix, and Advocare are absolutely the best answer for health and weight loss. You should choose one–any one of the them, it doesn’t really matter, all of them are all-natural and sourced from only the best proteins and plants and completely organic–and just buy in to it without looking back. Buy the whole line, and make that your entire menu every day. You just need to do it for 30 days, then your body will be reset to its maximum healthy potential and you can go back to eating real, healthy food. You will just need to maintain by continuing to ingest those products only and not go back to eating a regular diet. But you have to choose the right company. Because most of them are filled with additives and inferior ingredients and  only one of them is the true answer to all your health needs. However, beware of MLM schemes like Plexus, Thrive, Isagenix, and Advocare. They may help you lose some weight at first, but in the long run they are all just a scam and you would do far better to just count your calories and be sure to stick to a balanced diet.

As far as the healthiest way to deal with sickness, you absolutely must use essential oils and Himalayan salt lamps and probably acupuncture just to be safe. Any conventional medications will cause more problems than they solve and also give you cancer. But stay away from essential oils and other “natural” remedies. They are dangerous, unproven, and you are taking your life in your hands if you use them. Never ever get the vaccinations recommended by the establishment for your children. If you do, they are guaranteed to get autism. And if you get the HPV vaccination for your daughter, not only will it probably leave her infertile, but it will also make her 23 times more likely to have sex since she’ll think she’s protected from all negative results. Above all else, make sure you get all recommended vaccinations for your children.  If you don’t, they will die. And before they die, they will infect a bunch of other children whose parents will then hate you.

So there you go. Eating healthy and staying healthy is simple, and anyone can do it. All the information you need is right at your fingertips.
